Minister Janette King is proud mother of a daughter Yvonne. Although she is not a grand mother she has a cat named mahogany. She began playing at the age of 2 and a half and was a concert pianist at the age of 5.
Janette has been a member of Hoosier since 1984 nearly 23 years. She began playing at the age of 5. She plays Piano, organ and flute, she also sings contralto. Janette King is director of Human resources at ITC and a Graduate Spelman College and of the Theological seminary. Her favorite thing about playing with Hoosier is the musicianship. |

Craig Hale
is the Son of Rev. Dr Wimbley & Mae Hale and a member of First Malalieu UMC of East point. He began playing drums at the age of 11. Craig sings baritone and he has played for Hoosier for the past nine years.
He plays drums, piano and other brass instruments. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University he is a former member of the philharmonic society and the Mighty Marching Panthers. Craig works as Visual Audio services tech at Westminster schools.
His favorite thing about playing with Hoosier is fellow

Brian Crawford had been a member of Hoosier since 1982 and he is the Son of Joseph & Lucino Crawford.
He began playing trumpet at the age of 8. Brian has played for Hoosier for the past four years. He works as a research assistant for the department of biological science at Clark Atlanta University. Brian will be receiving his Ph D in Biomedical research in December 2007.
His favorite thing about playing with Hoosier is that he is proud to be at his home church and fellowship with the other musicians.
One thing you want the church family to know is…that he holds Hoosier in high regard and evangelizes every chance he gets.

Dr. Alonzo Alexander had been a member of Hoosier since 2000 and he is the son of Alonzo Jr. and Mamie Alexander. He has been playing piano since the age of four. He plays piano organ, flute and guitar. Dr. Alexander also sings in a stunning bass baritone.
He is a native of Cincinnati Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati College conservatory of music. He holds a Bachelor of music 1978 a masters of music 1982 and a Doctorate of Musical Arts 1996. He has taught music and composition at Morris Brown (1999-2004) Spelman college (2004-2005). He currently serves as Adjunct professor at Clark Atlanta University.
His favorite thing about playing with Hoosier is the spirit of joy that all the members radiate though their worship and service.
One thing you want the church family to know is…that through music we can share a sense of belonging to each other and a sense of community.

Tony Taylor is husband to Jovanda Taylor and has a son Terry age 6 and daughter Jasmine 7 months. Mr. Taylor has been a member of Hoosier since 2003.
He began playing piano at the age of 5. Tony’s focus is on keyboard but he sings baritone as well. Tony has played for Hoosier for the past four years. He has traveled to Shanghai and Hong Kong China and preformed with Sandi Jarvis trio as well as the group J Jazz in 2000 and 2002.
His favorite thing about playing with Hoosier is fellowship and being where he is appreciated. One thing you want the church family to know is that as an accomplished musician with a focus on Jazz. Tony has performed in a variety of settings including solo piano, duos and trios.
